Cons:

No support for Dolby vision. It’s ok as the brand Samsung has HDR10+ format which is almost similar to Dolby vision and currently no brand offering tv with perfect Dolby vision specs. Perhaps it may take approximately next 5 years to fully feature in.
The TV itself a heavy but understandable with the techs provided.

Sound and Picture Quality

Sony’s best processor ever works alongside pixel contrast booster Technology to deliver unbelievable picture quality with 4K HDR clarity. Bright, crisp and clear, vibrant colors, absolute inky black, and stunning contrast come to everything you watch from any angle, any seating arrangements in a room. Watching in either daylight or dark room is really immense. It’s sound quality is just perfect with Acoustic surface Audio+, it makes you feel as if you were in a concert hall or cinema where voice comes at you from different directions. With Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos provide cinematic thrills at home.

Smart Features

The auto-switch setting is a game changer feature for a normal user who usually tweak and fuss with the settings on a new tv. But unfortunately available for only compatible inputs which allows it to sense and auto adjust and selects the best screen according to the content. For example put in 4K blue-ray and it changes the screen to Cinema Pro mode.

Cons:

This set-up is also not without flaw.

No support for HDR10+.
Some complaints about settings, like Bluetooth pairing difficulty, navigating downloaded apps in other menu instead of built-in apps list, one-button Netflix access works with flaw. Struggling for such a pricy TV is fairly galling.
TV is very thin and if you mount it to a wall, it fits as close as picture. It comes with plates that cover input area and you have to leave one plate off to fit in your cables.

Conclusion

Overall it’s a very stunning TV with awesome design and audio and video quality. If enough amount to buy, fairly you will not be disappointed.

The main concern about this tv is about viewing angles. If your TV room is big and often watch along family with wide seating arrangements, then this isn’t the best choice.
One may witness a dirty screen while viewing pure white images like ice etc. – will see a grey band across the whites, but not a concern for majority users.

Aesthetically, it looks great with edge-to-edge glass display, and on performance basis, it competes its position against VIZIO and Hisense at this price point.

Sound and Picture Quality

The TCL 6-Series model's sound and picture quality justify its price and challenges its position against VIZIO and Hisense. It supports Dolby Vision which delivers superior 4K HDR while Dolby Atmos provides immersive surround sound.
It delivers great performance in any environment – from the darkest home theater to the brightest sun-lit living rooms, and no color banding issue any more which was found in previous version of this series.
With a VA panel, it's full-array local dimming feature produces dark and deep blacks while viewing black scenes in dark rooms. Its black uniformity is outstanding and immersive.
Powered by Contrast Control Zone technology, it optimizes striking contrast between dark and bright areas of the image.

Gaming

The gaming experience is fine and justify its price.
With Auto Game Mode, this set become very efficient, responsive, and the gamers will experience the smoothest action, lowest latency and the best picture settings for gaming, automatically.

Cons

Unfortunately, this set has narrow viewing angles, and not suitable for big room with wide seating arrangements. You have to sit in front of it, and if you sit off-axis from the tv - far left or right, it loses color saturation quickly.
This TV set comes with only a 60Hz panel. This means it is not so good in motion handling especially during fast motion. We find this feature rather better during Natural Cinema mode.
It lacks out-of-the-box color accuracy. It has visible dirty screen effect, which may distract if you watch hockey games or other sports.
Built-in speakers aren't quite as impressive or beefy as some of the ones found on other brands like Samsung, Sony, and you need some external sound source to enjoy TV shows or movies.
TCL Roku TVs do not come with Bluetooth, you have to connect this TV to external audio by using either HDMI ARC, a digital optical audio out, or an analog audio out in the form of a 3.5 mm Jack.

Conclusion

If you're looking for a best budget 4K TV, and well familiar with snappy UI or a fan of the Roku operating system that's easier to use than Android TV, then the TCL 6-Series/R625 2019 really suits you as a good alternative.
Overall, its performance is very well in most usage at this price point.
